Large open planned lounge and bedroom, with kingsize bed. Flat screen TV and DVD, large omfy sofa and chair. Dining table and chairs. Patio doors looking out into garden with free range chickens.

Private deck area

The Hot tub is for sole use of the cottage guests. Heated all year round to 38C. Patio table and chairs and a weber BBQ for guest use.

A spacious cottage set in the boundaries of a 300 year old grade II listed farm house in the peaceful rural village of Old South Hykeham.

The open plan accommodation comprises of comfortable lounge area, with large flat screen TV. An area for dining looking out over the garden through french doors.

The bedroom area has a luxurious king size bed providing guests with quality accommodation to relax in.

The well equipped separate kitchenette with combination microwave grill and 2 ring ceramic hob, large fridge with ice box. The modern bathroom compliments the facilities, with a large shower.

Wifi is available for guests free of charge.

The Cottage is self-catering and a welcome pack is provided, including tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, bread, a home made cake. Outside, guests have access to a private raised decking area to unwind in which is adjacent to the Cottage.

The Hot Tub is available for the cottage guests with a privacy screen and is for sole use of the cottage guests.

There is a parking space for one vehicle, and large lawns with free range chickens. A BBQ is provided for guests use.

There are also 2 bicycles available for guests to explore the local area.

We are located within a short drive to the City of Lincoln with its famous Cathedral, Castle, and array of local attractions including the Lincolnshire show ground not to mention the famous display team the Red Arrows. Newark is also only a 10 minute drive with its picturesque town centre and show ground, Swinderby antiques fairs are even closer still.

We were over the moon with our little weekend retreat, perfect for visiting Lincoln and the surrounding area. Jim greeted us and gave us lots of handy tips for the best places to go. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable, the hot tub was great! The kitchen was well stocked and Karen had provided fresh milk, bread and a delicious homemade cake! Plenty of tea, coffee and breakfast items too. So pleased with our stay, top notch! Thank you x

The cottage was absolutely spotless for our arrival. I cannot speak highly enough of it. We were welcomed and given info on places to go and to eat at. The cottage has everything you could need and even though it’s only a few miles from Lincoln and local amenities, it feels like it’s in the middle of the countryside. The perfect place to relax !

Karen & her husband were fantastic hosts. Both were really friendly & were able to recommend really nice places to visit & to eat. The Green Man which was recommended was fab & we got 10% off the meals with a card that was in the place that we stopped. The Hot Tub was fantastic & enclosed so was very private. The place was really clean, comfortable & lovely to stop in for our weekend away. Lincoln was only a short drive away. North Hykeham had a Co-op for grabbing essentials which was a 3 min drive. Karen gave precise & clear instructions for finding their lovely little place prior to coming & check in was super easy. Key code was provided & we was in. When we arrived, there was a lemon cake waiting for us, milk, coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, ceareals for a day, a loaf of fresh bread, butter & jam. Such a lovely surprise & wasn't expected. Thank you for a really lovely weekend.
